Winter Mountain Walk 7 Jan

Snow on the hills is forecast and staying cold all week. Make the most of the winter conditions and get an introduction to winter hillwalking or refresh your skills - including fitting your crampons and using ice axe. This will be a mountaineering day looking at the skills needed to get about in winter. We will make best use of the prevailing snow and make a route over the Glyderau mountains that's challenging and fun. Cant guarantee how much snow there will be but forecast looks like it will be cold enough on the summits for some winter action.


The day will start with a meet up in Ogwen at 0845
You will need your own kit but I do have some spares - Get in touch for more details or queries
Limited number crampons and ice axes available but you will need suitable boots
