Weekly Mums’ Climbing Instruction
A friendly, confidence-building weekly climbing session for mums at Indy Climbing Wall, weekly in January. Designed for mums who are brand new to climbing or returning after a break and want a supportive refresher on skills in a relaxed, non-judgemental space.
Cost: £10 per person + booking fee
Included: Harness, climbing shoes, and instruction
What to expect
A calm, welcoming session just for mums
Clear instruction for beginners and/or skill refresher at your pace
Beginner-friendly routes and supportive coaching
Time to rebuild confidence, strength, and enjoyment
No pressure, no expectations, just space for you
Important note
This session is for mums to attend without children. There is no crèche available; you'll be hands-on during the session.
What to bring / wear
Comfortable sports clothes you can move in - no jeans or hoodies
Socks (for the climbing shoes)
A water bottle and a snack
Climbing harness, shoes and chalk bag if you have them
A warm layer for resting between climbs
Whether you’re completely new or coming back after years away, this session is about giving yourself time and space to climb again.
When you are happy with your skills, you can complete a waiver at Indy and join our weekly Mums climbing social, 12-3 on Wednesdays with other mums who share belaying and baby holding :)
