Yoga for Healthy Back and Spine


Most people today suffer from some ailment of the back or spine, often because of our modern lifestyle, less often because of structural issues or injury.

Yoga provides many natural solutions to alleviate strain
and pain in our backs, so that we can live a healthier, pain-free life and reduce the risk of future ailments.
Yoga is an excellent complement to modern medicine, when done with awareness and care.

In this workshop, we’ll examine the sources of back pain and its solutions. We’ll learn how to work at 3 different levels to create a healthy back and spine: correct breathing, postural exercises, mental relaxation and recovery. We’ll also briefly consider other solutions including lifestyle changes.

You do not need prior Yoga experience.

NOTE : This workshop is not appropriate for those with severe back
conditions that greatly limit movement.
Please be punctual, wear clothing to exercise in. Bring a pen and paper and your yoga mat if you wish.

Dakshina : INR 500
