Strategic Leadership and Program Development

Join us for a comprehensive series focused on developing effective coaching, mentoring and professional development strategies.

Session 1 - Authentic Youth-Led Programming (9-`10:30 p.m.) Ensure programs align with youth needs and create meaningful engagement. This training will elevate your impact on facilitating authentic youth engagement, a core component of Weikart's quality model designed to support positive youth outcomes. Participants will discover practical strategies to empower and involve young voices effectively to foster meaningful connections and create positive change.

Break (10:30-11 a.m.)

Session 2 -Sustainability Resources & Writing for Wow (11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) Build sustainable funding strategies and craft compelling grant pitches. Finding and keeping track of all the grant opportunities and other resources needed to keep your program alive and growing can be daunting. This workshop will review a variety of sustainability strategies and techniques for mapping out sustainability throughout the year. We will also work together to create customized language that pops off the page for perfect pitches for grants and other asks.

Parking: Park in the lot across from TGI Fridays and enter the building (formerly Target). Proceed past security to the first doors on the right to enter the Carefirst Engagement Center.
