Holistic Childbirth Essentials

This course is 7 hours and covered in one day, with a meal break. It is evidence-based with updated materials including textbook, documents and videos and in person, hands-on practice. This class is perfect for people that have less time but want straight to the point, quality information. What this class covers: • how to prepare for birth • anatomy of the pregnant person • stages of labor • understanding medical interventions • partner involvement and support • how to become an empowered partner • coping techniques including breathing (and beyond) • positions for labor • create a birth preferences document • build confidence and find community with other pregnant couples. Note: THIS CLASS DOES NOT COVER INFANT FEEDING/BREASTFEEDING OR INFANT CARE.
