Film Screening: Realm of the Oceans

In conjunction with the exhibition , join us at The Peale for a screening of Realm of the Oceans, a breathtaking documentary exploring the great ocean currents and their role in humanity’s future. The quest deciphers the workings of this enormous machine, its multiple ‘engines’ and several ‘gears’ which connect all global waters and basins. Everything; creeks, streams, lakes, bays, and seas are all linked to the oceans. Follow the complex and astonishing voyage of water masses through satellite imagery, soundings and computer models collected by international scientists around the world.

Conversation will follow after the film with One Chiliad artist, Jann Rosen-Queralt.
