Double Trouble: Improv at The Highwire Center!

Get your fill of improv comedy pairs at The Highwire Center to start your Friday night. We kick off the hour with Marshmallow and Sour, who show that comedy can mix with different snowball tastes. Baltimore improv legend Heather Moyer closes the hour with their Heather with Strangers show where one audience member who has never done improv joins Heather to create a memorable show. 

What is an improv show, exactly?

Improv is live theater created spontaneously by the performers with the inspiration of the audience. Unless noted otherwise, it’s a comedy show, made even more exciting, intriguing, and hilarious by the fact that none of it is pre-scripted! At an improv show you’ll see a wide range of creative and fascinating humans perform a highwire act by making comedy out of thin air! It can take many forms, including short competitive games, slice of life scenes, and full length sitcom or movie style performances!

A Highwire Improv show is truly a once in a lifetime performance, never done before and never to be done again!

The Highwire Center is Highwire Improv's home base in the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore! Part of Highlandtown Main Street and the Highlandtown Arts District, The Highwire Center is home to classes, free workshops, shows, community events, corporate training, and more!
