Skygazing on Talcott Mountain

Join us for an unforgettable evening of stargazing at Talcott Mountain Science Center’s mountaintop campus! You’ll begin your night with a guided constellation tour in our planetarium, followed by outdoor telescope viewing under the stars.

With our powerful telescopes, we’ll search for stars, planets (including Mars), deep sky objects, and more!

Because much of the program takes place outdoors, please dress for the weather — anticipating cooler temperatures on the mountain than in the surrounding towns. This program is ideal for both astronomy enthusiasts and curious minds ages 4 and up (children must be accompanied by an adult).
