Tween and Teen Junk Journal and Zine Making Party

This is a special night out just for crafters ages 10ish-14ish who love stickers, pizza and a pack of paint markers. Join the party with host Jennifer Perkins author of Creative Crafts For Teens (regulars at Figment might also know her as Ms. Jen). Everyone will learn how to make a basic journal out of fun scrapbook paper, a single sheet zine AND stickers from packing tape. Once the booklets are made everyone will be set up with a buffet of markers, stickers, instant cameras and glue sticks to junk journal the night away while listening to music and munching pizza with friends.

All supplies will be included but attendees are encouraged to bring stickers to swap, their own bits of ephemera from summer travels (ticket stubs, postcards, photos) and if they have an existing journal they are working in bring it along.
