Mexic-Arte Museum’s 41st Annual Viva La Vida Festival and Parade is Austin’s largest and longest-running Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) event. This year’s festival will occur on Saturday, October 28, at 4th Street and Congress Avenue. You can enjoy the Education Pavilion with hands-on art activities, artist demos, traditional foods, local artists and retail booths, a low-rider exhibition, and live performances throughout the day.
This event offers a unique Halloween experience combining music and storytelling within the atmospheric setting of a 140-year-old historic church. The performance features Guitar and violin by Will Taylor, cello by Tony Rogers and Spooky tales by Jim Trainer! Isn’t it super-exciting?!
