Jim Patton & Sherry Brokus/ Firewater double bill

Jim Patton & Sherry Brokus and Firewater, two veteran Austin original bands, will play a split bill at the NeWorlDeli Saturday July 26 at 7 pm.

Jim Patton & Sherry Brokus are releasing their 10th studio album since moving to Austin. They've made the top 20 on the Folk Charts three times, peaking at #12, and they've reached #80 on the Americana Charts. Joining Patton and Brokus at the Deli will be Ron Flynt on bass, Cordy Lavery on 12 string guitar, and Vinnie Ambrosone on drums. This is probably our last show of the summer, so come see us.

Firewater's music is original and eclectic with sweet harmonies and a feel-good groove. Firewater's songs range from folk to rock and country blues to jazz. New Folk winner Lisa Fancher and fan favorite Jay Dee Hicks are the primary songwriters, singers and guitarists. Eddie Block holds down the low end on bass, sings and also co-writes some of the band's material. Wayne Bell has recently joined the band on drums, percussion and harmonies.
