About the event

Astronomy Uncorked: Through the Looking Glass: Observing and Telescopes
For eons, humans have enjoyed looking up at the sky, and engaged with a variety of technologies to do so.

This month, Prof. Rain Naylor will discuss how those instruments allow us to see the cosmos, from the squishy cameras of our eyes to the great space telescopes currently in construction! Austin Astronomy Society will have telescopes for demonstration at the event as well 🔭
