This technique encourages roots to grow on a branch while it’s still attached to the parent tree—producing a mature, ready-to-plant clone ideal for food forests and long-term restoration.

During this interactive session, we’ll demonstrate air layering on an apple, a peach, and a plum tree. You’ll gain practical skills, discover the science behind the process, and learn how this method helps create resilient, fruit-bearing trees that support food security and ecological regeneration.

This event is outdoors, so:
-Bring bug spray and sunscreen
