The Great Push-In

In just one week our new type 3 engine arrives in Augusta!! We would like to invite you to help us welcome our new engine into service with a traditional push-in ceremony Friday, June 20th at 6:00 PM.

The push-in dates back to the 1800's when horse-drawn fire engines would return from a fire and the firefighters would push the engine back into the station. Today, the inaugural first push-in symbolizes the unity of firefighters and the community and also allows us to celebrate the new engine being ready to serve and protect the Augusta community and surrounding areas!
