Led by fiery saxophonist Iggy Nama Ruci, the Iggy Nama Ruci Quartet delivers powerful, boundary-pushing jazz.

Fresh off a tour through India and South Africa, Iggy brings a fresh perspective to his sound, drawing inspiration from legends like Eric Dolphy, Lennie Tristano, Cannonball Adderley, and Thelonious Monk.

The quartet features a lineup of standout musicians from Aotearoa’s vibrant jazz scene. On bass is Tyler Diprose, known for his deep musical intuition and a rich connection to his instrument. Max Crook anchors the group on drums with creative precision, laying down a solid yet fluid foundation. Rounding out the band is Michael Nash—a versatile and expressive pianist whose dynamic playing adds both fire and finesse.
