🌀 Tournament Theme & Format

For this Beys & Pizzas event, we’re going to do TEAM BATTLES!!!
That’s right—we’ll be using Takara Tomy’s official 3-player team battle format, which we’ll explain to you on the day.
We’ll be using BCS Zero, so everyone can run whatever they like and fully explore the excitement of team battles. There will be no ban lists in effect!
⚠️ Please make sure your Beys are genuine, unmarked, and unstickered—unless the stickers came pre-applied out of the box.

• 9:30 AM – Doors Open & Registration
• 10:30 AM – Registration Closes / Tournament Briefing
• 11:00 AM – Main Themed Event Starts
• 12:00 PM – Qualifying Rounds Begin
• 1:00 PM – 🍕 PIZZA TIME!!!
• 4:00 PM – Main Themed Event Ends & Social Time Starts
• 5:00 PM – End of Day :)

📋 Tournament Structure & Rules

Since this is a Beys & Pizzas event, the theme and game mode will be different. We’ll brief everyone on the day, as well as in the days leading up to the event via the Beyblade New Zealand Facebook Group.
🚫 Fakes and modified Beyblades are strictly prohibited.
Only Takara Tomy and select Hasbro Beyblades are allowed.
Use of inauthentic parts will result in disqualification - no refunds.

Since this is a Beys & Pizzas event, there are no competitive prizes because there are no ranks or placements to defend! Instead, we're focused on building the community, so we’ll be giving out awards for the following:
• Best Judge
• Best MC
• Best Vibes
• Most Helpful
The awards pool will consist of Takara Tomy Beyblades valued at $250 if we reach 32 paying participants or more. This amount may be adjusted depending on turnout. Make sure to stay tuned in the Facebook Group for updates on the awards and how they’ll be given out!

• $40 on the day (if space remains)
