Evolution and Fossils

On Wednesday 13th August, children aged 8–12 are invited to join an exciting journey through time with the National Museum of Natural History’s palaeontology team.

The morning starts with a fascinating tour and hands-on activity exploring evolution and the museum’s fossil collection. After a short break, kids will get creative in a poster-making workshop, designing eye-catching artwork inspired by Malta’s endemic species – blending science with imagination.

This activity starts at 09:00 and finishes at 13:00. Tickets, costing €35, can be booked from Store – Heritage Malta or from any Heritage Malta museum or site. Spaces are limited to ensure individual attention.

Participants are to bring their own packed lunch, and an apron or old t-shirt to protect clothing. Children will be fully supervised, therefore guardians are not required to stay unless the child has a disability requiring additional support.
