About the event

Conservation and Our Planet
On Thursday 14th August, children aged 8–12 are invited to join us at the National Museum of Natural History in Mdina to learn more about the challenges for our planet’s ecosystems, and how they can help build a brighter future for life on Earth.

The morning kicks off with a conservation-themed tour and activity led by the museum’s palaeontology team. After a short break, kids will dive into ‘Plastic NOT Fantastic’, an interactive, hands-on session focusing on the impact of plastic on our planet and ways to protect wildlife.

This activity starts at 09:00 and finishes at 13:00. Tickets, costing €35, can be booked from Store – Heritage Malta or from any Heritage Malta museum or site. Spaces are limited to ensure individual attention.

Participants are to bring their own packed lunch, and an apron or old t-shirt to protect clothing. Children will be fully supervised, therefore guardians are not required to stay unless the child has a disability requiring additional support.
