The workshop focuses on dynamic technique, offering tools adapted to different body types and skill levels.
We’ll explore biomechanical concepts like beats, explosion/suspension, body weight, rotation and direction changes.
Technical elements will become a movement language, enriched through exploration and composition exercises on the apparatus.

A few words about Marianna
Mariana Fernández is a performer artist, specializing in static trapeze and dance. The motor of her artistic activity comes from contemporary dance and the creation of performance pieces. She graduated from Cirko Vertigo in Italy and from Arc in Cirque in France.
She is currently a performer in 29 Circ D’Hivern of Ateneu de 9 Barris in Barcelona. Has been part of dance and circus companies in Mexico such as Inside the Body, Hebra, Construcción en Movimiento, Compañía Cracoviana & Cirko de Mente. She is the choreography director in the company NonGratos Teatro, working with young people in vulnerable situations in Mexico and Spain.
Co-directs her own companies Otra Vez Lunes & 9 Gramos, winners of the prize BOEART Festival in Germany and of the grant ENARTES 2021. Co - directed the laboratory and performance piece Mujer Barbuda, Women in Contemporary Circus 2018. As an independent artist, she has participated in festivals in Europe, Mexico, USA, Canada and Central America. She teaches aerial acrobatics workshops internationally and has been part of the teaching staff at the Circus Bachelor's Degree in Cirko de Mente, La Bonita Cooperativa, lLaFake Formación and Casa de Artes y Circo Contemporáneo. Winner of the grant Creadores Escénicos 2022-2023 FONCA.
