About the event

Symphonic Storytime: How Does Music Make You Feel?

In this show, we'll be demonstrating how music can evoke emotions in people. Kids (and adults!) will learn about tempo, dynamics, rhythm, and modes, such as major and minor. They'll get to hear how these elements come together to create different moods - Happiness, fear, calm, triumph, sadness - we can elicit these and more through our craft.
