With the ever growing divide between the wealthy and the working class, we know that the systems we have in place do not take care of us the way we need them to, so we must take care of each other.
So this month, instead out our regular Community Meeting, we are being joined by The Revolution KY and the Human Rights Umbrella Coalition for an all day Medic Training!
We will learn American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, and AED use for Adults and Pediatrics, taught by American Red Cross certified trainer and former Army field medic, Nicolette Katze.
The training will be at the Carol Jackson Unity Center at 3032 Railroad Ave, Ashland, KY 41101 and will be from 9AM-4PM.
The training is completely free so that anyone in our community can learn these valuable skills, but to get the actual CPR certification is $40, and it lasts 2 years.
