DIY Workshop: Painted Pedestal Planters with Live Planting Demonstration

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you will create your own pedestal painted planter in the iconic MacKenzie Childs style. To make your painting experience seamless, the planters will be pre-primed and pre-marked with the checkerboard and stripes. Live demonstration by Kim Jenkins, a certified landscape architect and highly sought-after consultant, will bring a selection of ideal plantings and flowers to the studio and do a live demonstration of how to arrange and plant them in one of the planters. The planters are made of resin, 18.75 inches tall, 19 inches wide, and 29 inches in depth. The event will take place on May 1st at 5:30 PM at GatheredAKY studio located at 323 15th Street, Ashland, KY. The fee for the workshop is $60, and it is suitable for all ages.
