Scuttlebutt!

The rumors are true! Scuttlebutt is back and boy do we have stories to tell! If you're just tuning in, Scuttlebutt is a quarterly improv comedy show at The LaZoom Room which prides itself on dishing out the hot goss and shakin' up that grapevine. This month's super talented and dynamic cast of Scuttlebutt players — Erin McCarson, Carin Metzger, Kim Richardson, Jason Phillips, Stacey Uria, Zack Hamrick and Christine Hellman — take inspiration from our special guest storytellers along with audience suggestions to create hilarious scenes all based on that thing you should keep between us, wink-wink, nudge-nudge ;)

This month's guest storyteller is local poet and performer, Kevin Evans! Kevin was born in 1982 in Maricopa County, AZ and began writing creatively in the 3rd grade, mostly short detective and horror stories. He began writing poetry as a teenager at which time he was mentored by Ms. Glenis Redmond. He has been a part of the Poetry Cabaret, Asheville Slam team, and of course Black Diamond Collective with Penny Meacham.
