Kasigau hills are located in Taita-Taveta County is part of the Eastern Arc Mountains. It is sandwiched between Tsavo West and East National Parks. Kasigau rises about 1600m above the Taru Desert, with savannah plains below giving way to its high montane forest.
Hikemaniak wishes to host you for a weekend in this magical place in the Kenyan Coast for one night and two days.

Day 1
5.00 am Leave Nairobi for Kasigau
10.30am Arrive at Kasigau and get to orient ourselves
10.30 am Leave the camp for the 7 hour-forest trek
6 .00pm Arrive back at the camp for an evening tea and snack
6.30pm Gather at the bonfire as we play cards and share our stories and connect
7.00pm Dinner is served
8.00pm Bon firing into the night
Day two;
8.30 am Breakfast is served
9.30 am Nature trail trek
12.30pm Early lunch as we prepare to leave.
2.30pm Leave Kasigau for Nairobi
What to wear and items to carry;
Comfortable trainer shoes or Water proof hiking boot preferred Hiking/gym pants (avoid jeans)
Polyester T-shirt Carry an extra one to change of clothes for after the hike to keep warm and for the next day
Warm clothes and Maasai leso to cover self in the evening
Sun glasses
Hat/cap Camera
Binoculars Drinking water (3litres)
Sun screen (Arimis oK) and Insect repellant
Heavy snacks to last day one trek
Energy Bars
Poncho or a light Rain Jacket- unlikely to use but just incase

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel more than 48hours before your scheduled trip departure, a 50% of the fee will be charged. If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip departure, no refund fees will be provided. No shows are responsible for 100% of trip fees.
