We head to Nyandarua about 1.5hours drive from Nairobi is Kimakia Forest.
Starting at Kimakia Forest Fishing Camp,
the trails follows a fishermen’s trail down crossing Chania river burbling down towards Thika. We continue up following Ragia River in a final push to the base of the thundering approximately 60m -2 stair Kimakia Falls.
We take our time taking in the beauty and letting the thunder calm us. Soon we retrace our steps back to the camp.

Time Activity
6.00am Depart Nairobi for Kimakia expected to arrive at 8.00am
12.30pm Enjoy your packed lunch or snacks at the peak as you view the scenic surroundings
4.30 pm End the hike at Kimakia Fishing Camp and leave for Nairobi expecting to arrive at 7.30pm
What to wear and items to carry;
Comfortable running shoes or Waterproof hiking boot preferred
Hiking or gym pants (avoid jeans)
Polyester T-shirt (like the football jerseys) carry an extra one to change after the hike
Sun glasses

If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled trip departure, a 50% of the fee will be charged.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip departure, no refund fees will be provided.
