BLS training is designed for healthcare providers, including nurses, physicians, EMS professionals, CNAs, and other individuals like fitness advisors, parents, public services personnel and even teachers.

BLS Course Options

• In-Person: Traditional classroom-based courses with hands-on skills training.
• Blended Learning: Combines online learning with a hands-on skills session.

• • CPR: Involves chest compressions and rescue breaths to maintain blood flow and oxygenation.

• • AED Use: Learning how to use an AED to deliver an electrical shock to restart the heart.

• • Choking Relief: Techniques to help individuals who are choking.

• • Two-Rescuer CPR: Skills for providing CPR with another person.

Key Skills and Techniques

• High-Quality CPR:

Performing chest compressions at a rate of 100-120 per minute, allowing the chest to recoil between compressions fully.

• Rescue Breaths:

Providing breaths to the person in need of CPR.

• AED Use:

Knowing how to attach an AED to a person, turn it on, and follow the AED's instructions.

• Choking Relief:

Performing the Heimlich maneuver or other techniques to dislodge an object from a person's airway.
