ARC has been personally invited to host a walk/run for the West Orange Trail Bridge Grand Re-opening hosted by Orange County Mayor Jerry L. I and District 2 Commissioner Christine Moore!
Here are the details:
• LOCATION: The event is at the bridge; however, please PARK at Kit Land Nelson Park to alleviate parking congestion near the bridge.
• TIME: Registration/gathering is at 9:30 am; ceremony starts at 10:00 am. A ribbon-cutting/photo op will take place, followed by our walk/run. There will be a few vendors there, including a gym that will host a post-run stretch class. ARC will have a tent there, as well.
• Please wear your ARC shirt so that we all represent! If you don't have an ARC shirt, you can order one at:

Please note that lead times vary on certain options, so don't delay! If you can't order a shirt/don't have one, please wear BLUE (royal blue preferred).
•The walk/run will start at the bridge and head south on West Orange Trail. It will be our traditional out & back, but 15 minutes out, 15 minutes back for event cadence. Note that bicyclists are also a part of this event, following the same 15/15 format.
•There is expected to be a of people. Let's show them how ARC does it! :) Please be mindful of your surroundings at all times and respect trail etiquette by:
- Staying to the right side while traveling
- If in a group, do not take up the entire width of the trail (allowing people to pass)
-Raise your hand if preparing to suddenly stop, and
-Going off the trail when not walking/running
