Join staff on a tour of the South Wake Landfill to find out how Wake County Waste Management Division safeguards the environment and public health by using modern day engineering practices and innovative technology to safely dispose of over 1.1 million people's garbage. Please Note: Attendees must be age eight (8) years or older by the date of the tour (no exceptions). Each attendee is required to register. Attendees must electronically sign a waiver form during registration. If there are no spots remaining during registration, there is an option to "Join the Waitlist". People who join the waitlist will be notified via email when a spot opens up.
