Devil's Highway Overnight Run

Want to escape the heat and enjoy some twisties? Hitting the Devil's Highway. (US-191, formerly US-666) Over 400 turns and climbing to an elevation over 5,000 feet. This will be an overnight trip that will stop for the night at the Winn Campground in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest for the evening to relax before heading home Sunday morning. Bring your tent, sleeping bags, and some good eats. If the weather is cool, we'll light the fire.

Chevron meet up spot:

3265 S Goldfield Rd, Apache Junction, AZ 85219

Meeting up at the Chevron on the south side of the US-60 at 8:30 am and rolling out at 9:00 am. We'll top off fuel at the Circle K in Safford and onto the US-191.

I have reserved the group site, and it says it is for up to 14 cars.

There is a Bashas in Eager we can stop at for food and whatever else before stopping for the night.

The Chevron to the Winn Campground is 300 miles.
