Celebrate International Picnic Day with a truly unique twist—right here at the sanctuary!
Join us on Wednesday, June 18th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for an afternoon of picnic fun in the paddocks, surrounded by our rescued ponies, horses, and donkeys.
We’ll start the event by preparing a special treat picnic for the herd—setting up fruit and veg surprises in one of their grazing paddocks. Once our four-legged friends are set, we’ll move to a nearby area where guests can enjoy their own picnic with a view of the sanctuary’s animals enjoying theirs!
You’ll be able to say hello to some of the animals over the fence, take photos, and just relax together in nature. Teddy bears are very welcome—bring your favourite along to join the fun!
