As our ministry has grown, so has the need for better quality equipment. We are currently raising funds to purchase a new truck. Our truck is a vital part of our outreach efforts—we use it to pull our trailer full of excess donations to various outreach programs and to take clothing that's too worn for use to be recycled.
Our current truck has served us well, but the cost of repairs has begun to outweigh the truck's reliability and usefulness, making it no longer a wise investment for our ministry. We are in need of a higher-quality, dependable replacement to continue this important work safely and efficiently.
Our ministry is a 100% volunteer-run organization with no paid employees, dedicated to serving individuals and families in need with compassion and dignity. Through our "pay from the heart” system, we ensure that everyone has access to clothing, household goods, and essential support regardless of their financial situation. All funds we receive go directly toward supporting our mission and serving the community!
We are committed to helping disaster victims, survivors of domestic violence, and those experiencing homelessness and financial strain, by providing clothing, food, and practical assistance during times of crisis. Our mission is to be a hands-on expression of love, hope, and community support for all who walk through our door.
This event will be held at Anna VFW, 70 VFW Lane, Anna, IL 62906. We will be in the banquet hall. No alcohol will be served in the banquet hall for this event. We do understand that some may have a conflict of interest for the date or location, but may still feel called to help. We welcome you to visit us at the ministry anytime during normal business hours to make a monetary donation or volunteer your time. We greatly appreciate whatever people are able to give.
