Join us for the presentation "How to Get Published" with literary agent Jan Kardys.

Jan Kardys has 35 years of diversified publishing experience for ten major publishing corporations: Doubleday, St. Martin’s Press, Macmillan, Charles Scribner’s Sons, Prentice Hall/Simon & Schuster, Scholastic, Warner Books (now Grand Central Publishing), Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Lippincott & Crowell, Publishers, Little Brown & Company, and Google.

Having begun her career in the editorial department at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Jan has worked in Art and Production, Subsidiary Rights, Licensing, Database Design, Imaging, Royalty Conversions, Contracts, and Copyrights & Permissions.
Currently, Jan is chairman of Unicorn Writers’ Conference, a major annual event now in its 7th year. It is held at Manhattanville College, Purchase, New York. Jan is also president of Black Hawk Literary Agency.
