This engaging workshop is led by Indigenous artists Taiomah and Kineu Rutledge (Ojibwe/Meskwaki/Dakota) of Warclan Collective. Experience live singing, learn about drum etiquette, and explore how woodland and northern plains cultures influence their work. Then, take part in a hands-on cyanotype art activity inspired by Indigenous applique design. Don’t miss this vibrant culture share through music and art!
*Registration Events Policy
For registered library events for adults, the library utilizes a No-Show Policy to ensure that waitlisted patrons have an opportunity to attend an event. The policy is below:
If an adult patron is unable to attend a registered event, the patron must notify the library of the cancellation at least 24 hours before the event prior to the event through the registration app, email ZXJpY2FraW0gfCBhbmRvdmVybGlicmFyeSAhIG9yZw==, or call 316-558-3500.
If no cancellation notice is given at the time of the event, the patron will be considered a “no-show.” If a registered patron no-shows three times for a library event for which they are registered, they will not be able to register for or attend events that require registration for six months.
