A new support group for caregivers is forming in Andover, providing a safe and welcoming space for individuals who are navigating the challenges, stresses, and rewards of caring for loved ones.
The group’s first meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 17th a 7PM at the Andover Public Library. This initial gathering will be an exploratory meeting to understand the needs of caregivers in the community and determine how the group can best offer support.
Caregiving can be a demanding journey, often accompanied by exhaustion, isolation, fear, and stress. This support group is designed to bring together individuals who are walking the same path, offering a space to share experiences, learn about resources, and connect with others who understand firsthand the challenges of caregiving.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss practical tips, tools, and strategies for daily caregiving, as well as gain insight into available resources. Whether you have recently stepped into the role of caregiver or have been providing care for years, this group aims to foster a sense of community, reassurance, and encouragement.
Join us as we build a network of support, strength, and shared wisdom. For more information, please contact co-host Dianne Grenier at (860) 742-3033 or Cathy Palazzi at (860) 916-6122, and join us at the library on June 17th!
