👠👞 19:00 - 19:45: Soulzouk Head Movement workshop with Michel & Lera. Leaders will discover how to guide head movements with confidence and ease, while followers will explore the balance between trust, control and surrender. Zouk basics are required.

Breugem invites you to relax over dinner and drinks. Their own brewery serves delicious beers (yes, alcohol-free options too!) and their restaurant is ready to fuel you for the dance floor. A smooth floor, cozy atmosphere and amazing sound system will make sure we enjoy every beat!

👠👞 About SoulZouk:
The mission of Soulzouk is to provide a techniques for dancers to connect deeply with themselves, their partners, and the music through the art of dance. It aims to promote and celebrate the expressive and emotional aspects of dance, creating a space for dancers to explore their creativity and personal style. Soulzouk strives to foster a strong sense of connection and communication between dancers, emphasizing the importance of trust, mutual understanding, and collaboration. It encourages dancers to develop their ability to lead and follow, allowing for improvisation and co-creation on the dance floor.
SoulZouk has a unique approach to head movements: the supported head moves, found in no other zouk style. Known for their comfort and deeply relaxing flow, these head moves create a magical experience of connection. In this workshop, leaders will discover how to guide them with confidence and ease, while followers will explore the beautiful balance of trust, control, and surrender.
About the dance teachers:
Michel has his background in breakdance. He has learned a lot about bio-mechanics, balance, creativity and energy consumption. Michel has been trained in different Zouk styles. SoulZouk (by Claudio Silva) & Neo-Zouk (by Ruanita Santos) being his two most favorite styles, which also combine well together.
Michel started teaching SoulZouk in Amsterdam in 2019, together with his dance partner Lera.
🎶🎧 DJs:
DJ Xearo & DJ Juliuz will bring the beats that let us connect on the dance floor.
🎧DJ Xearo has been DJing Brazilian Zouk internationally for about 8 years. His style leans on technical precision with smooth storytelling, mixing across genres while keeping flow and energy curves in mind. DJ Xearo loves guiding dancers through different moods sometimes playful, sometimes deep & always with intention and connection to the floor.
🎧DJ Juliuz has been DJing since 2018, starting out at cozy outdoor Zouk socials in Amsterdam’s Vondelpark. Since then, he has played in 7 different countries, bringing his versatile style to diverse crowds. His sets are shaped by the moment—making logical transitions in key, emotion, genre, and energy to create flow and connection on the floor. With a love for RnB, dark, and spiritual sounds, DJ Juliuz invites dancers on a journey that is both deep and expressive.
