UATS JAM

UATS is a collective of Argentine musicians exploring the meeting point between rhythm, harmony, and improvisation.

Formed by Tío La Bomba (bass), Edu Giardina (drums), Maxi Sayes (percussion), and Javier Burin (keys), the group develops an organic dialogue between groove and texture — a sound rooted in funk and jazz, yet open to abstraction and electronic elements.

For this performance, UATS is joined by the American Boyfriends — Jason Arkins (saxophone), Jett Lim (trombone), and Carlos Ramos (trumpet) — the brass ensemble behind Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso. Together, they build a living musical landscape where structure and spontaneity coexist, and where the pulse of Buenos Aires finds resonance in the sound of Amsterdam.

The band has also performed on NPR’s Tiny Desk series with Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso, showcasing their improvisational approach and dynamic synergy in an intimate setting
