Your Inner Portrait: Express How You Feel with Art

Join us at our professional art studio in the artistic NDSM district of Amsterdam! Express your inner world through art. Enjoy a cup of organic tea/coffeee with light bites, while learning new art methods in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

Instead of focusing on technique or copying a face, this workshop guides guests to paint their own inner world, with professional support, a personal reflection experience they wouldn’t easily create on their own.

Participants will have fun experimenting with colors, shapes, and basic art symbols to express their feelings and tell their personal stories visually. Guided by a professional artist, they’ll discover that art is not about perfection but a playful, creative journey of self-expression in a relaxed and supportive environment.

• Experiment with colors, shapes & symbols to tell your story
• Warm-up exercises, then layering emotions into abstract or semi-figurative forms
• Create your own acrylic painting on canvas to take home

• 15 minutes: Welcome and introduction
• 30 minutes: Warm-up exercises exploring colors and shapes
• 1 hour 45 minutes: Guided painting session, expressing inner feelings through abstract or semi-figurative forms
• 15 minutes: Reflection, sharing, and wrap-up

• All materials (paints, brushes, canvas, easels, aprons, etc.)
• Professional guidance & step-by-step support
• Organic tea/coffee and light snacks
