Delta Piano Trio plays Viennese Masterpieces on a Midsummer Night

On midsummer night, the Delta Piano Trio invites you into a world of Viennese brilliance with two extraordinary works from the heart of the repertoire. At the center of the program is Arnold Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht, heard in a rare and captivating arrangement for piano trio by Henk Guittart.

This early masterpiece by Schoenberg – rich in passion, emotional depth, and poetic color – takes on a fresh clarity in this intimate setting. Guittart’s sensitive and detailed arrangement brings out the subtle layers of the original sextet in a new, transparent sound world.
