The Amsterdam-based quartet releases its third album Matter Antimatter, reflecting an ongoing search for open and adventurous music. The group’s language blends contemporary jazz with non-idiomatic approaches, embracing flexibility, co-creation and traces of Brazilian culture.

Inspired by the precarious urbanization of Brazil and the standardized Dutch landscape, Pedro Kastelijns presents with QBAE (Gabriel de Oliveira & Niels Luteijn) a multi-colored ritual rooted in Brazilian sounds, MCing, jazz, rock, and improvisation. Their performances combine raw energy, theatrical presence, and heartfelt songs that blur the lines between composition and instant creation.
