Every Tuesday from 20:00 till 22:00 you are welcome to join our open practice @stampij! We have music and you are welcome to join!
How to participate?
• Solo: you just show up, put yourself in front of the mirror (or not) and do your thing!
• Partnered (Lindy, Balboa, Shag): You show up and see if there is a dance partner available or you ask someone to practice with before.
Participation is free, but we do ask kindly for donations. So if you’re able to miss something, it would be appreciated if you could help out pay for the rental of the space. A QR code will be available at the location.
How it works and who is it for?
We bring the music, a space (with mirrors) and free entrance for everyone! Also people outside of school are more than happy to join (open to everyone that is, or is not linked to Stampij in any way).
Someone of the team will take charge of the music. Usually some midtempo jazz (120-180 bpm) but special requests are possible. We can do some fast music sessions or slow ones.
Also feel free to ask any of the teachers to help if you need some feedback on your dancing. Please note, they might practice themselves as well and have to organise the space. Consider booking private classes in case you really want dedicated time with a teacher.
A little tip! If you are looking for a partner to practice with, maybe post a message in this event to find your "soulmate".
