THICKLY SETTTLED (film screening) with TAYLOR VAN CLEAVE

Be a part of our local film test screening and live music event at the Drake in Amherst. Be the first to screen the Director's Cut of our locally shot narrative short film THICKLY SETTLED featuring music by Taylor Van Cleave.

The evening will include a screening of the director's cut, followed by a concert by Taylor Van Cleave. Thickly Settled is a narrative short film set and shot entirely in the Pioneer Valley. The story questions the paths we are on versus the paths not taken, and to what lengths we would go to change things. Written and directed by Jordan Brooks and Brian Jones, the film was shot in Shutesbury, Wendell and Orange over a period of 6 days in early March.

Hailing from the borderlands of New York City and New Jersey, Taylor Van Cleave delivers clever, often satirical lyrics alongside infectious melodies, offering listeners a candid reflection on the absurdity of life and the complexities of the human experience. His music pays homage to the classic sounds of the late 60's.
