VBI 3-H Service Design - Change Leader Academy 2-Day Workshop
Summary: The Change Leader Academy (CLA) provides the tools and skills your agency needs to implement real, measurable improvements that benefit your clients and enhance your services. The CLA is based on the NIATx Model of Process Improvement. This field-tested approach empowers organizations to streamline operations, improve client outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous quality improvement. Participants will learn to apply the model through practical, hands-on activities that they can implement immediately in their work settings.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of the training series, participants will be able to:
1. Identify the “Who’s Who in Process Improvement” and describe the three key roles needed for any change project.
2. Create a flow chart to identify problems and build consensus among the team.
3. Design a change project and complete a change project form.
4. Define the Nominal Group Technique (NGT) and identify barriers and solutions for a problem.
5. Demonstrate and utilize the basic concepts of rapid-cycle change using the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) approach to process improvement.
6. Measure the impact of change and the importance of data in decision making.
7. Offer tips for holding and facilitating successful change team meetings.
Audience: Up to four people per agency can register. CIBHS recommends that at least two people register to get maximum benefit.
1. Change Leaders - the person who will be appointed by leadership to lead the change, identify activities, ensure timeline is met, track results and report progress.
2. Change Team Members – office and front-line staff working in departments that will be executing changes.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for the in-person sessions must be made one week prior to the training date. Remember at least one person must attend both days. If you are not able to attend, please notify Roneel Chaudhary to substitute another individual.
