Rebekah Ryan, born June 21, 1976, in Tamworth, England, is a British pop and soul singer-songwriter who rose to prominence in the mid-1990s.
Her musical journey began with a blend of R&B, pop, and soul influences, leading to a series of notable releases and collaborations.​
In 1996, Rebekah signed with MCA Records and released her debut single, "You Lift Me Up." The track, produced by the acclaimed dance outfit K-Klass, became a national club hit and reached number 26 on the UK Singles Chart .
Following this success, she released "Just A Little Bit of Love," also produced by K-Klass, which became a club favorite, peaking at number 51 on the UK chart .​
In 1997, Rebekah showcased her versatility with a cover of Barbra Streisand's "Woman in Love," infusing it with hip-hop and R&B elements. Although the single reached number 64 on the UK chart , it demonstrated her ability to reinterpret classics with a contemporary twist.​
Transitioning into the 2000s, Rebekah reinvented her sound, embracing a rock-pop style. She released the album "Big Trouble (Lots of Fun)" in 2001 under Jive Records, followed by "I'll Live" in 2002. Despite limited commercial success, these projects highlighted her artistic evolution and commitment to exploring diverse musical landscapes.​
Rebekah's talent also graced television screens when she participated in "The X Factor" in 2007 and returned in 2016, captivating audiences with her powerful vocals and stage presence .​
