Queer Takeover started in Burlington Vermont over two years ago in response to a lack of affinity & performance spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community & their art. Queer Takeover is dedicated to providing safe & affirming spaces for LGBTQIA Performing Arts & Artists.
Celebrating Community, Informing Inclusion, & Fighting Fascism! Fascism & hate continues to rise in the US, along with attempts to erase the lives of queer and trans people, Queer Takeover is a direct effort towards more visibility & liberation.
