Community Theatre Stage Management Workshop at CRFT

This workshop will cover everything you've wanted to know about stage management but have been too afraid to ask your stage manager. Want to be involved in the theatre, but feel more like a techie than a performer? Got a knack for organization? A strong, clear yelling voice? Stage management might be for you.

Participants will hear from seasoned community theater stage manager Diana Chabai-Booker about what a stage manager does, all the way from getting the gig to rehearsal, performances and strike. Diana will also lead participants through making effective blocking notes, building a prop table and everyone will walk away with Diana's personal set of stage management document templates (rehearsal report, performance report, line notes, prop lists, run sheets and more!).

This is also a fabulous workshop for directors to know what to look for in a good stage manager and for actors to learn how to best work with their stage manager.
