Beyond Startup x SPARK Akron: Bookkeeping Bootcamp

OVERVIEW:

Session 1 - Small Business Bookkeeping 101 - 8:30am - 12:30pm

This class is great for small business owners from start up to the more seasoned business owner who doesn't have a financial team yet. This class is not based on QuickBooks Online, but will cover bookkeeping basics and definitions,1099 basics, invoicing and payment acceptance, receipt and document retention and basic financial reports. Payroll is not covered in this session.

Session 2 - Advanced Bookkeeping and QuickBooks Online - 1:30pm - 5:30pm

This class is great for small business owners from start up to the more seasoned business owner who doesn't have a financial team yet, but is looking to manage their bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online and has a more complex business structure. A subscription to QuickBooks Online is strongly encouraged for this session. This class is based on QuickBooks Online, and will cover bookkeeping advanced topics within QBO, Payroll basics in QBO and other platforms, and financial reports.

WORKSHOPS REQUIRE ADVANCE REGISTRATION AND ARE FREE TO BOUNCE CLIENTS AND $5 FOR NON-CLIENTS

This event is open to all entrepreneurs looking to take their business beyond the startup phase. Bounce clients, including tenants, remote tenants and monthly Generator members, can attend for free, but are still required to register. All other entrepreneurs are asked to pay a $5 fee. Seating is limited. All participants are welcomed to enjoy free coworking at Bounce for the entire day.
