Curator Talk: Out of this world

Gain a fascinating understanding of the stories behind the collection materials on display and deep-dive into the background of the exhibition. From cutting-edge scientific research to architecture, design, television and more, Out of this world: Australia in the space age explores Australia's role in the space race.

Exhibition Curator Catriona Donnelly from the National Archives of Australia will tell stories about the history of Woomera Rocket Range, how futuristic architecture influenced Australia's Expo pavilion in 1970, and the story of Australia's much-loved Mr Squiggle – 'the man from the moon'.
