FREE COMEDY SHOW! The UnClub (TM) is a live stand-up comedy show at the Ypsi Alehouse in downtown Ypsilanti, MI, happening every Sunday evening after trivia!
The UnClub is not your usual comedy club; it's an unconventional gathering of unhinged humor and unapologetic laughs. Here, you'll find unforgettable stand-up comedy performers with unapologetically unpredictable, unfiltered, and undeniably hilarious jokes! Prepare for an unforgettable evening as our lineup of unassuming, unrefined, and unrelenting comedians tackle everything from untold stories to unspoken truths, all while UN-learning the rules of traditional stand-up.
Among our regular "UnClubbers" you'll find:
National Headliners like Brad Wenzel, Mary Santora, and Andy Beningo.
Award-winning professionals like Barry Crimmins, Steve Smargon, Norm Stulz, and Jeffery Ford.
Long-respected writers like Chili Challis, Steve Billnitzer, Jonny Lewis, and Ned Rice.
Check-in time is 7:15 PM, which is also when the lineup will be available. Those arriving after the line-up is finalized and announced at 7:15 will be moved to the waitlist and will be given spots as time permits. All performers will receive a drink ticket for a beer, wine, or non-alcoholic beverage of their choice.
Stage time will be granted with the following priority:
1st Priority - Chili's Dojo participants, current dojoers first, then past participants.
For information on joining Chili’s Comedy Dojo, please Facebook Message Mark Sweetman (www.facebook.com/marksweetman)
2nd Priority - Those acts denied spots on their last request. If you are on the waitlist, show up, and you may get a spot. If you DO NOT get a spot, you will be CONFIRMED for a spot on the next available UnClub opening.
3rd Priority - Special Requests for carpools and out-of-town acts.
All other spots are given at the showrunner's discretion at showtime.
The length of stage time will depend largely on the turnout, the performer's experience, and the showrunner's discretion.
Kitchen closes at 9 PM, which is also when happy hour begins. The Ypsi Alehouse closes at 10 PM, which is also when the show ends.
