Info: Lisa Gift, Calistoga City Councilmember and longtime Napa County resident, is a passionate advocate for mental health. As a single mother and suicide attempt survivor, she brings lived experience and public service dedication to her leadership. While serving in office, she faced significant mental health challenges publicly, fueling her mission to reduce stigma, normalize conversations around emotional well-being, and build compassionate systems of care. She emphasizes the need to treat mental health struggles with the same openness and compassion as physical illnesses. Her message centers on vulnerability, courage, and creating space for healing in both policy and community.
