YSU Jazz Combos Concert

Join us on October 16, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. in YSU's Spotlight Theater for the first Jazz Combos Concert of the season!

Two incredible jazz combos, led by Dr. Kent Engelhardt and Dr. Glenn Schaft, will take the stage for an evening of vibrant performances. Engelhardt’s sextet and Schaft’s trio will showcase a variety of fun tunes, including “Some Other Blues” by John Coltrane and “Tidal Breeze” composed by YSU alum and honorary doctorate recipient Harold Danko.
